Senate Bill 2567 Update: Urgent action needed!

We are requesting your help!

Senate Bill 2567 proposes to move the Department of Mental Health under the Office of the Governor
The bill passed the Senate floor yesterday with a 25 yea to 24 nay vote, and 3 Senators absent or not voting.

A motion yesterday to reconsider might kill it. However, if a motion to table the reconsideration passes, it could advance the bill to the House.

We need you to contact your SENATOR and ENCOURAGE them to VOTE AGAINST the effort to move forward with SB2567!

We must let our legislators know they are there to represent us! There is no time like the PRESENT. Why wait till Monday?
Feel free to contact them over the weekend!

We have also attached the letter addressing this from the Chair of the Board of Mental Health. Please take the time to read it to clarify any questions you may have.
